Yesterday had to go to hospital supposed to be for an assesment to find out if he has dislexia well through questions i was asked at his last appointment and questionaires that were sent off to his school they now think not only does he have dislexia (this still needs to be assesed properly tho) but he has ADHD they wanted to put him onto tablets there and then, but i wasnt going to let that happen just yet as he still hasnt been fully assesed. So anyway now i have to wait for another appointment to come through feels like yesterday was a bit of a waste of time as they didnt even want to carry on and assese him for dislexia even tho the doc thought he had it Evil or Very Mad

awe poor Steven hun ur so right not to just jump at the meds. Im sure they do help some kids but my friend has a boy with add no H tho and the docs wanted him on med but the school said he didnt need it so shes kept him off and instead she monitors his food and stuff like that to keep him on track

See theres another thing maybe it could be controlled with diet but nobody has given me any diet sheets or anything like that. I'm sure that a lot of his bad behaviour (which isnt as bad as some kids ive seen) is down to his dislexia and the fact that it frustrates him so much, cos he cant express himself properly.
