stupid teachers

my eldest had some boots bought for school. shes been waring them for 4 weeks no problems
she can hhome yesterday saying her teacher said she wasnt aloud to wear them and if the head teacher found out she would be in trouble , so i took her to school thie morning she was crying as she thought she would get done so i asked the teacher(not the usual one) if she was aloud to wear them she didnt know so she said ask the head teacher. so i went to find her , and i couldt so asker on reception if she could wear them , she said no, only to and from school. so why didnt the stupid teacher mention this to me?

Thats ridiculous that its taken them that long to say that she is not allowed to wear her boots, and they should have at least let u know, some schools just dont think grrrr

well they said its in the school propectus, but what gets me is why havent they told me??????????????? instead of upsetting her

They should have come to you anyway, its wrong to upset children that way x

I agree they could of definatly approached you first instead of "picking" on your daughter, badly handled by the teacher in my opinion

your school sounds just like my sons.HE got wrong for wearing a belt just because it was not black.And there shoes got to be black with no other colour. bloody stupid

OMG how stupid! Your poor daughter it is so wrong telling her they shouldve come to you! My daughters school has made an allowance as its winter time and the boots have to be flat they aren't doing any one harm wearing them are they!
