What ever happened to?.....

As i sit here chatting to you lovely ladies wondering again and again what i could do for work it occurs to me that so much has changed over the years! Gone are they days when u could advertise as a babysitter because now they have so many checks i myself would have no problem having a crb check but it seems a shame that something as lovely a babysitting/childminding has been tainted by twisted ppl out there and now they have enforced so many regulations. What ever happened to a good recommendation from a friend? without all the worry i am very saddened by this

i agree its a sad world like that there is so much going on i mean u cant take pics of your children in school plays etc

i agree ,
lucky i have 2 daughters , whom, both have children ,
and we all take it in turns to babysit , plus my lad nearly 16 , babysits for them too

I really felt for my friend at xmas her son is in reception class and played joesph in the nativity but she couldn't film it or take pictures of it! I would be crushed

omg thats sad, we still took pics of our kids inp lays n we didnt get told off

Its very sad that we cant take pics of our children when they are doing something special. x

It really is! I was lucky we were able to record my daughters show but it was my friend i felt for x x x

We were lucky at Simons carol concert/Play they video'd it the day before when there were no adults so that no-one took cameras to the church, and we also got a permission slip home to make sure it was ok for our child to be in the video. Its definalty not the same as you taping it, but i guess its a way to get round the issues.
